2017 Review

It appears their faster at responding to all the poor reviews, complaints on this website. But when it comes to answering and responding to someone calling about getting work authorized they use stall tactics with long hold times and no Supervisor available? I've been trying to get my furnace repaired since Nov 8th. It's in the research Dept I've been told over and over again? With all the complaints I'm not understanding why this company isn't investigated and Sued like American Home Shield was. Maybe we should start a Class Action Law Suit? They also use Technicians that aren't qualified for the repairs and pay them for such a low reimbursement. They will take your 100 dollar service fee and not want to come out again and repair it.

2017 Review

Our heating system went out the week before Thanksgiving . I submitted a claim online and Total Protect sent out the vendor the next day. The vendor said the unit needed to be replaced so he called into TP to let them know. They called me back and said it would go into "research" and it would take about 3 business days. I never hear back from them, so I called a week later. They told me the replacement unit had been ordered and it would take a week or so. I then called the local vendor and left them a voicemail and let them know what I had been told by the customer service rep from total protect. The local vendor called me back the next day asking who I had talked to because she had just called them and they told her something completely different. Needless to say I was pretty upset, so I called back and said I needed to speak with a supervisor . He said that he was escalating our claim to "emergency status" and said that "research" would get right on it. I will believe it when I see it. This is our 2nd claim with Total Protect. The first issue was with our AC going out and it took them over 1 month to fix the unit. They ordered the wrong part twice and they wouldn't call me to keep me informed, I would have to keep calling in to them. I do not recommend Total Protect aka Cross Country. They have lied to me at least 2 times on the phone and they are extremely slow to address/fix claims. I will be canceling my contract with them as soon as they fix our heating system. Unacceptable!

2018 Review

NEVER REALLY HAD AN ISSUE UNTIL OCTOBER 2017. HERE IT IS JANUARY 2018 AND MY PROBLEM IS STILL NO RESOLVED. ALL I NEEDED REAPIRED WAS MY WATER DISPENSER IN MY RE FRIDGERAT OR. WE HAVE HAD 6 SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS FOR A REP AIRMAN. 3 OF THEM BEING A NO SHOW , SO NOW MY HUSBAND HAS MISSED 3 DAYS OF WORK FOR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS WITH A REPAIRMAN AND NO ONE SHOWS UP. WORST SERVICE EVER. I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!
